Bought used, Owned for 5 Years
Fuel Economy: 16.0 km/litre (6.3 L/100 km), RON95, Mileage: 1,500 km/month
Pros
- The look. Beauty in the eyes of beholder.
- Very good fuel efficiency. I live and drive mostly in a city and can get around 16-17km/L per tank on Econ mode.
- Handling is good as the car is almost sticking to the floor, low centre of gravity. Stable cornering at speed.
- Good front legroom for its size.
- 6 speed gear is reasonably smooth.
- Sport mode is extremely fun to drive. Smoking 99% car on stop-start situation
- Good audio system.
- Affordable Coupe made in Japan. (Used car around 40k RM)
- Although car look small, i use to dismantle the rear seat complete and put a 28" foldable bike in the back.
- Quality built. Maintenance/repair is economical. Spend total of RM 3,600 within 4 years including oil/filter/battery change to maintain/repair the car (1x replace 2 side door open handle = RM 2,000. 1x Aircon Evaporator = RM 600). Less than RM 900/year on average. Since the door handle should last 10 years if handle with care, the car should only cost you RM 400/year to maintain.
Cons
- Unlike Proton Satria. CR-Z rear seat is just decoration and not practical.
- Can't really find other complaint. Easily one of the most reliable car i ever drive (5 to date)
