Bought new, Owned for 4 Years
Fuel Economy: 25.0 km/litre (4.0 L/100 km), RON95, Mileage: 1,200 km/month
Fuel efficiency. 25km/l is great value
Security system. Keyless mechanism means that I do not have to spend extra in adding security system
    Sound speakers are superb!
    Silent drive still amazes people
normal mode is better than eco mode
Legroom for rear passengers are too small
If you plan to go on a holiday with more than 3 big bags, DONT. the boot is too small.
As the air hole beneath the left-rear passenger is essential in cooling the engine, I cant actually let anyone sit there as I worry their skirts may block the air hole.

1.5 (2014)
Bought new, Owned for 5 Years
Fuel Economy: 30.0 km/litre (3.3 L/100 km), RON95, Mileage: 1,500 km/month
Fuel efficiency. Can easily get around 25km/litre.
Good suspension which people fly through bump like me even when I'm 40+km/h. The bump still won't hit the bottom.
    Good speaker
Very stable when around 180+km/h due to its aerodynamic
Safely Feature is great for a car that under 100k.
E-cvt engine still perform very good after quite a years.
Car does not feel underpowered most of the time with e-cvt but not with over 4 huge guys sitting inside the car.
Legroom for this hybrid hatchback is reasonable but is way too small if your family or friends are around 180cm height.
When your car is low battery while you are in the traffic, the engine recharge would make the whole car shaking and engine sounds is very noisy.
To Improve
It's Toyota so it doesn't need to improve since Toyota builds perfect car.
Yes, I would recommend this car

Bought used, Owned for 1 Year
Fuel Economy: 30.0 km/litre (3.3 L/100 km), RON95, Mileage: 1,000 km/month
    - I think one of the most affordable full hybrid car available in the market now.
    - Handling and performance is surprising good for a small car like this.
    - Lots of new and latest tech insided like keyless entry, cruise control, headlight leveling, hill stop assist, retractable side mirror, digital and color lcd dashboard meter, reverse camera + gps navigator (optional) etc.
    - spare tyre is 15' sport rim too.
    - reliable, so far nothing is failed, hybrid system brings no problem, keyless still working well.
    - engine noise/rattle is obvious during idle when the battery is low and petrol engine kick in again.
    - car interior very plastic.
To Improve
- improve more cabin space

Bought new, Owned for 2 Years
Fuel Economy: 22.0 km/litre (4.5 L/100 km), RON95, Mileage: 1,500 km/month
-Complete safety equipment. TRC, VSC, BA, EBD, Hill stop assist, 7 Airbags
-Super fuel efficient. I live at KL city and work at KL city center. Manage to get average 22km/l over 24,000KM. Weekend drive is around 26-30km/l
    -Very comfotable semi-bucket seat
-Light steering, Small turning radius, easy to park car.
-Powerful hybrid drivetrain, good for lots of stop-and-go drive. Fast acceleration at traffic light compare to many B segment car.
-A proven hybrid system for its reliability and fuel efficiency
    -Cheap looking plastic interior.
    -Ugly and old design
-Lots of rattling noise after 1 year old but easy to fix if you are DIYer
-Unreasonably expensive for a small B segment car.
-Rear seat is not so comfortable especially the middle seat.
    -Poor firewall soundproofing.
To Improve
-Material used in the interior should be thicker.

Bought new, Owned for 2 Years
Fuel Economy: 25.0 km/litre (4.0 L/100 km), RON95, Mileage: 3,000 km/month
Very fuel efficient even in bad traffic
Aircond still cool even ICE (engine) is on idle stop
During traffic congestion ICE turns on once in a while just to charge, most of the time it is off
Fully packed with features VSC EBD ABS 7 airbags
Up to now no problem yet, still feel new.. Good quality car
Silent when cruising and stealthy at low speed

Full tank rm65 can go 700-800 km.. Max I got is 850km+
    FC low 20 km/l mid 25 km/l max 35 km/l
Average 1 hour traffic along Jalan Tun Razak + 130kmh at highway for 50 km results in 23.3 km/l.. This is my everyday route to work
Size is quite small, can only carry 4 adults comfortably
Wind noise is noticable beyond 100kmh
Engine noise quite noisy during overtaking / climbing hills as engine has to rev up to provide electric to the motor generator
    Handling is so-so

Bought used, Owned for 2 Years
Fuel Economy: 24.0 km/litre (4.2 L/100 km), RON95, Mileage: 1,200 km/month
    - Least affected car in Malaysia on fuel price. RM0.12/km in full CITY drive. Fuel increase to RM3/l also no feel.
    - Reliable. No timing belt/chain, no gear ratio, no chain in e-CVT, no parts to change
    - Cheap maintenance, similar as Myvi.
    - VSC TRC ABS EBD HA 7 airbags all safety feature
    - 140km/h still stable like Myvi 90km/h
    - Comfortable, like Ford Fiesta
    - Full pedal as frequent as I like, the worst FC only 18km/l, normal 30km highway can reach FC 26km/l easily
    - Good QC, from same production line as US Prius C
    - Suprisingly powerful while full pedal
    - When running in EV, the car too silent. Would be torturing if stuck in jam with a modded exhaust pipe car.
    - Limited space. It is B segment hatchback after all
    - Low resale value (Malaysian generally scare of battery cost, which actually hardly got problem)
    - Hard to find excuse changing car due to its reliability.
    - easily park wrongly on reverse parking (without reverse camera) due to aerodynamic body shape
To Improve
- Leather seat
- HID instead of halogen headlights
- lane change monitor or front sensor
- more cabin lights (currently only 1 at drivers row)
- more leg room for rear seats
Yes, I would recommend this car

Bought new, Owned for 3 Years
Fuel Economy: 20.0 km/litre (5.0 L/100 km), RON95
    - I believe this is the most affordable full hybrid car on the road which easily hit 650KM plus with filling up full tank fuel of RM65 only
    - Handling and suspension is surprising good for a small car like this
    - Lots of features like keyless entry, cruise control, headlight leveling, hill stop assist, retractable side mirror, digital and color lcd dashboard meter, reverse camera + gps navigator (optional) etc
    - spare tyre is 15' sport rim too
    - reliable, so far nothing is failed, hybrid system brings no problem, keyless still working well
    - wind and road noise
    - engine noise/rattle is obvious during idle when the battery is low and petrol engine kick in
    - car interior is small (myvi is more spacious in my opinion)

To Improve
- sound proofing to improve NVH esp the cabin floor, side door, bonnet, and the area beneath the tyres
- make the gear stick like the one in the Prius which can safe more space
- improve cabin space
Yes, I would recommend this car

Bought new, Owned for 1 Year
Fuel Economy: 21.0 km/litre (4.8 L/100 km), RON95, Mileage: 1,000 km/month
    - Cruise Control for the cheapest car around the year when i first bought it.
    - 7 air bag
    - Good fuel efficiency, at least 21km/l or it can go to 30km/l+ if you are light footed
    - 2550mm of wheelbase. one of the best in class.
    - Does not feel underpower when you need the power
    - Comfortable fabric seat
    - Good rear view unlike other hybrid car
    - The compact size
    - The brand
    - Rattling plastic sound
    - wind noise
    - Does not look nice
To Improve
Add on leather seat or higher specification like Japan specification which included bigger wheels and G sport .
