1.5E (A) (2014)
Bought used, Owned for 5 Years
Fuel Economy: 18.0 km/litre (5.6 L/100 km), RON95, Mileage: 300 km/month
I owned a previous Gen 1.3 2006 mark 1 model and i switch to 1.5E 2011 Mark a few years ago, different between this two vehicles are incredibly significant. The 1.3 2006 uses a K3 engine that is kind of rough and lazy to ride on and also the fuel consumption is fairly high compare to mark 2 while the 1.5E which uses 3SZ engine has a smooth ride with the fuel consumption is low even on hill roads thats come with engine breaking on downhill roads. Really comfortable with not so techy interior while traveling with family for a long distance ride. The fun part is you dont have to worry about the engine or other parts as its a very reliable car if you do your maintenance correctly such as changing the engine oil with quality one, changing your gearbox oil and dont forget about the differential oil as this car is RWD. Yes you can drift in it if you modify?, overall this is the by far a great reliable family car + workstation car.
If you planing to buy the 1.3 2006 model, the K3 engine think again the major problem for this car comes with the throttle body will have contamination stuck to it and it easily can enter the engine, leave it longer and you might need to do overhaul now and then. While 1.5 SZ engine is more reliable, there is a major design flaw in the air filter box, the box has a a rubber seal between the trottle body and air filter, the box and the seal if you look closely has 'drain' space so the rubber wont seal perfectly. When heavy rain, the rain water will fall through the rubber seal into the throttle body and will cause the engine to mix with water and the the piston to bend so a major overhaul will be needed. But worry not, if you can DIY a little bit, ther problem will be solved. You just need to drill small holes near the 'drain' and around the throttle body box contact area (the box) so that water can easily flow out without entering the trottle body. Another one is your rim, if you happen to change into a bigger rim, try changing the absorbers to a heavy duty one as it can easily spoil because the ori absorber didn't meant to support heavy rims. Another 1 more tip is never let anyone adult or heavy person to sit in the 3rd row as the absorber also will also spoil easily because of excessive weight is not meant for the car, remember RWD !! If you can add on a strut bar and sway bar overall it will improve your handling and grip when cornering on high speed.
To Improve
Improve your design of function and check any possibility scenario to happen, improve the handling and offer more accesories for this car type and bring back all the 90's legendary JDM cars and dont ever cancel the RWD system on newer cars, as this one of best thing that is the fun to drive.
Yes, I would recommend this car

1.5G (A) (2014)
Bought new, Owned for 6 Years
Fuel Economy: 14.0 km/litre (7.1 L/100 km), RON95, Mileage: 1,000 km/month
    Affordable MPV
Suitable for small family, not so bad for 7 seaters as in space
Good for shopping grocery, boot space is modifiable according to the need
    Rear passenger air conditioning
    Smooth driving on highway
Slightly taller than sedan and have a better view on the road
Engine is very slient when in neutral, almost not aware that the engine is started
    Rear suspension is nightmare
Back passenger will be suffering if not brake on uneven/paved road
A bit uncomfortable as in space for big size passenger
Poor pickup if full 7 seaters occupy
Noisy drivetrain when over 110 km/hr
Higher gravity point means high speed on paved road is not stable
To Improve
To improve rear suspension for comfotabilty of back passenger
Yes, I would recommend this car

1.3E (M) (2014)
Bought new, Owned for 2 Years
Fuel Economy: 12.0 km/litre (8.3 L/100 km), RON95
+ Fuel efficient and surely economy for a family-sized vehicle / people transporter.
+ Spacious internal design. Been for a long-way trip using Avanza with 6 adult passengers and one kid, the ride is comfortable and spacious for each of the passengers. No complaint of the individual space at all.
+ Great riding comfort especially on a long-way journey
    + Smooth engine
+ Spacious leg room for driver and passengers
    - Original back wheel suspension are terrible. It would cause a really bumpy feeling when bumping on road bulges or unbalanced surface of the road
    - Lack of stability control and airbags especially for the front passenger side
To Improve
- Improve on the back wheel suspension
No, I would not recommend this car

1.5E (A) (2014)
Bought new, Owned for 10 Years
Fuel Economy: 13.2 km/litre (7.6 L/100 km), RON95, Mileage: 1,000 km/month
Affordable, small segment-B MPV, small turning radius makes parking and manoeuvre in tight spot a brisk, rear wheel drive means pick up is ample.
NVH is bad and light frame means no high speed travelling. Stock shock absorber is bouncy and rebounce rate is too harsh, recommend to change to stiffer spring or absorber for better stability in bumpy road.
To Improve
VSC as standard? Rear Disc brakes for better stopping power.
Yes, I would recommend this car

1.5G (A) (2014)
Bought new, Owned for 2 Years
Fuel Economy: 13.0 km/litre (7.7 L/100 km), RON95, Mileage: 2,500 km/month
    Affordable 7 seater MPV
Fuel efficiency not bad, full tank RM70 gives average 450 to 500KM range (average13KM/L)
Rear wheel drive, better pick up
    Rear air-cond blower
Body roll is there but apparently not as bad as previous model.
Wont recommend driving at more than 110KMPH on the highway as car is light (unless ferrying passengers and carrying luggage)
To Improve
Have VSC for future models would be a much needed feature.
Yes, I would recommend this car

Good economical car for medium family, smooth 1.3l engine and good pick up, reliability car without major problem. Easy to drive in city driving.dual blower for fast cooling air conditioning
Small luggage capacity, high gravity overall body movement, less comfort suspension system, less comfort noise from engine bay.
To Improve
More larger luggage capacity, low to gravity body movement, more comfort suspension system, insulation for engine bay
